About

This website is a simple and fast tool to help you see what’s currently on your clipboard.

Why is this helpful?

A Quick Reference If You Forgot What You Copied

Sometimes it’s easy to forget if you copied something and it seems the only way to check is to paste it somewhere, which would require opening something to paste into, etc.  It’s easier to just bookmark this website and use it to check your clipboard.

A Workflow Tool That Requires Copying and Pasting Images from URLs

If you have a workflow where you need to copy and paste images from a URL, this tool can provide a faster way to do it by saving a step.  Instead of having to paste the URL in a browser and have it download the image, you can just click back into the tab with this website and it will automatically display the image if your clipboard has a image URL on it currently.  Then you can right click it and copy/paste it wherever you need to without having to download it first, saving time.

How to Use

Start It.

Simply load our homepage and click the blue “Start” button.  The page will then check your clipboard every 1 second and show a preview of what’s on it.

Updates Every Second.

If you’ve already clicked the Start button, the page will check every second for any changes to what is there on the clipboard.  If it detects a change it will update the preview and note the time it updated beneath.

Switching Windows

If you click on a different window, like to copy something else, then the tool will be paused and lose permission to view your clipboard.  When this happens it’s OK – it will just  show an error message at the bottom explaining that it does not have focus.  To continue updating simply click anywhere on the page to focus on it again, and it will continue to update again every second as normal.

That’s it!

Enjoy using this free clipboard checker tool!
